Privacy Policy

Who we are
FREQUENCY is a GTA V roleplay server on FiveM, run by a small team. "We" and "us" in this policy means that team. FREQUENCY is run from Gibraltar, so the Gibraltar GDPR and Gibraltar's Data Protection Act 2004 apply to how we handle your data. You can reach us any time at [email protected].
This policy covers frequency.ma, the creator form on it, and the FREQUENCY game server. Our Discord server also follows Discord's own privacy policy.
Visiting the website
frequency.ma sets no cookies. It has no ads, no tracking pixels and no social media trackers. To show you the page, a few services see your visit:
- Cloudflare hosts the site. Like any web host, it sees your IP address and browser details, and keeps them only to deliver the page and protect it from attacks.
- Google Fonts sends the site's fonts, so Google sees your IP address when the page loads.
- The Discord member count comes from Discord's public invite information. Your browser only talks to our site for it, never to Discord.
- Weazel Live: when you press play on a live report, your browser connects to our stream server, which sees your IP address while you watch. We don't record who watches.
We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn't use cookies or fingerprinting, and it doesn't track you across sites.
Creator applications
When you send the creator form, we receive:
- your channel link and platform,
- the languages you stream in and your average viewers (if you give them),
- your Discord username,
- anything you write in the note,
- the country you sent it from, which Cloudflare reads from your connection.
Your answers are sent as an email to our team inbox. We read them to decide whether to contact you, and we reach out on Discord. We don't add you to a mailing list.
To stop spam, we briefly use your IP address to allow one application a minute, and we may use Cloudflare Turnstile to check you're human. The IP check is forgotten after a minute.
Playing in the city
When you join the game server, we keep what we need to run the city and keep it fair:
- Account identifiers that FiveM shares with every server: your Rockstar/FiveM license, and your Discord ID if Discord is linked.
- Your IP address, to enforce bans and stop cheating.
- Your characters and what they own: names, looks, money, cars, homes, phone contacts and messages in the city.
- Photos, videos and voice messages you choose to send with the in-game phone, stored so they can show in the city.
- Logs of in-game chat and actions, which staff use to settle reports and catch rule breaking.
- Voice chat in the city is live only. We don't record it. Only voice messages you choose to send on the phone are kept.
Your in-game character name, and anything you do or post in public places in the city, can be seen by other players and by anyone watching their streams.
How long we keep it
- Creator applications: up to 12 months, then deleted. Sooner if you ask.
- Game logs: up to 90 days, unless they're part of an open report or ban.
- Characters and account data: while you play. Ask us and we'll delete them.
- Ban records: as long as the ban stands, so it can't be dodged.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also object to how we use it. Email [email protected] from the address or Discord account it's about, and we'll answer within 30 days.
If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Gibraltar Regulatory Authority, which oversees data protection where we're based. If you live in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data authority. If you live in Morocco, you can also contact the CNDP.
Age
FREQUENCY is for players aged 16 and over. If you think a younger child has sent us their details, email us and we'll delete them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Big changes will also be announced in our Discord.
