Terms of Use
Last updated 3 November 2026
Agreeing to these terms
These terms apply when you use frequency.ma, send us a creator application, or play on the FREQUENCY game server. By doing any of these, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use them.
You also have to follow Cfx.re's terms, Rockstar Games' terms for GTA V, and Discord's terms when you're in our Discord.
Who can play
You must be 16 or older, own a legal copy of GTA V, and use your own FiveM account. One person, one account: don't share accounts or play on someone else's.
City rules
The full roleplay rules live in our Discord, and they're part of these terms. They can change as the city grows. When they do, we'll post it in Discord, and it's on you to keep up.
Behaviour
Roleplay can get dark in character. Out of character, these are never OK:
- harassment, threats, hate speech or discrimination against real people,
- cheats, mod menus, exploits or abusing bugs, and not reporting a bug you find,
- trying to break into, overload or attack our servers, website or accounts,
- sharing other people's private information,
- selling or trading accounts, characters or in-game items for real money,
- posting sexual content involving minors, or anything illegal.
In-game items
Money, cars, homes, items and progress in the city are part of the game. They aren't your property and have no real-world value. We may change, reset or remove them, for example to fix bugs, balance the economy, or after a rule break. We'll try to give notice before big resets.
Streaming and content
You're welcome to stream, record and post your time in the city on Kick, Twitch, YouTube, TikTok or anywhere else. Your content stays yours.
By playing, you accept that other players may stream or record scenes you're in, including your character and in-game voice. If someone posts real-life personal information about you, report it to staff.
If you send us a clip, screenshot or idea to share, you let us post it on our Discord, website and social accounts, credited to you, and we'll take it down if you ask.
Who owns what
GTA V and its world belong to Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive. FREQUENCY isn't affiliated with or endorsed by them. Our own scripts, designs, places, logo and the name FREQUENCY belong to us or to the creators we licensed them from. Don't copy, resell or reupload them.
Warnings and bans
Staff can warn, kick, suspend or ban anyone who breaks these terms or the city rules, and remove the in-game items involved. For serious cases, like cheating or attacking the server, we may ban without a warning. If you think a ban was a mistake, you can appeal through our Discord.
No guarantees
FREQUENCY is a free community project, offered as it is. The server and website can go down, lose data, or change at any time, and we can't promise otherwise. As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for losses that come from using them, including lost in-game progress.
Links to other sites, like Discord or streaming platforms, are run by those companies, not us.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top, and big changes will be announced in Discord. Playing after a change means you accept it. These terms follow the laws of Gibraltar.
